Take the Grand
Central Pkwy. to either the Northern State Pkwy. or the Long Island
Expwy. EAST. OR
just
take the Long Island Expressway EAST.
Go to the exit for Meadowbrook Pkwy. SOUTH. Follow the Meadowbrook till
you see signs for Loop Pkwy. Exit at Loop Pkwy.
After you go over the drawbridge, keep to the left and follow signs
to Point Lookout.
Total time - from Manhattan - without heavy traffic - wil be 30 to 45
minutes.

Take the Northern
State or Southern State Pkwy to the Meadowbrook Pkwy. SOUTH. You can
also take Sunrise Hwy. Hempstead Tpke, Jericho Tpke, or Old Country
Rd. to the Meadowbrook Pkwy. SOUTH.
Follow the Meadowbrook till you see signs for Loop Pkwy. Exit at Loop
Pkwy.
After you go over the drawbridge, keep to the left and follow signs
to Point Lookout.

Take the Throgs
Neck Bridge.
When you come over the bridge, proceed straight on the Clearview Expwy.
to either the Long Island Expwy. or Grand Central Pkwy. EAST. Proceed
to the Meadowbrook Pkwy. SOUTH.
Follow the Meadowbrook till you see signs for Loop Pkwy. Exit at Loop
Pkwy.
After you go over the drawbridge, keep to the left and follow signs
to Point Lookout.

take the George Washington Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expwy. EAST. Proceed
to exit for Throgs Neck Bridge.
When you come over the bridge, proceed straight on the Clearview Expwy.
to either the Long Island Expwy. or Grand Central Pkwy. EAST. Proceed
to the Meadowbrook Pkwy. SOUTH.
Follow the Meadowbrook till you see signs for Loop Pkwy. Exit at Loop
Pkwy.

to Point Lookout.

Southern N.J.
go through Staten Island to the Verrazano Bridge. Exit at Belt Pkwy.
EAST. Follow the Belt Pkwy. to the Southern State Pkwy.
Go to exit for Meadowbrook Pkwy. SOUTH. Follow the Meadowbrook till
you see signs for Loop Pkwy. Exit at Loop Pkwy.
After you go over the drawbridge, keep to the left and follow signs
to Point Lookout.

To Point Lookout By Train
|

Take the Long
Island Railroad to Long Beach. If you get a direct train, travel time
will be about 47 - 55 minutes from Manhattan. From the Long Beach station
there is a bus. However, it's faster to get a cab at the station . There
are plenty.
The cab ride costs about $6.00. Note the telephone number of the taxi.
They'll be happy to pick you up in Point Lookout for your return journey.
NOTE:
You can also take the LIRR to Merrick, but the cab ride from Merrick
to Point Lookout will cost about fifteen dollars.
