Paul Gomez

Paul is basically a “lifer” in Point Lookout. He arrived here 47 years ago, at the age of 3, when his parents moved here. He grew up, along with his 6 brothers and sisters, in a typical shingle beach home on Parkside Drive. His mother still owns that home. Today Paul lives on Mineola Avenue with his wife and 3 children.

Like everyone in the family, he worked in the family real estate business as a kid. One thing that all the Gomez kids did was deliver keys to summer renters when they arrived at their rental. Of course, there were the other “chores”, like making sure that houses were clean before tenants arrived, and doing little “fixits” like opening stuck windows. Back then, taking wooden screens down to the hardware store for repair, was a big deal at the end of June and the beginning of August. Summer tenants don’t like finding broken screens on their house, and Point Realty wanted those tenants to be happy.

On top of being a real estate agent, Paul is also a singer/songwriter. He has a masters degree in music composition and a BA in music education.

When he’s not busy in his seven-day-a-week business, he finds time to coach CYO soccer, basketball, and baseball, be the vice president of the Point Lookout Chamber of Commerce, and take part in the management of our Recreation Hall (known as the “Rec Hall”) as a member of the church Rec Hall Committee. If that’s not enough, he also loves to fish from the jetties behind his home and run on our ten miles of beach.

If you need a true real estate professional, who knows virtually everything about this area, you can’t beat Paul.
